End of year photos

Saying goodbye

It is June and we will soon be on our summer holidays. We will miss our friends but look forward to seeing them in September. We have enjoyed Senior Infants, but can't wait to start a new adventure in First Class.

Play

We love to play and learn. Here are some pictures of us learning through play:

Snail houses

We made snail houses. First, we planted grass in the bottom half of a bottle. Then we put in a bottle cap filled with porridge (snails love porridge!!) Then we covered the bottle with a damp cloth and secured it with an elastic band.
Then it was time to find some snails. We searched around the yard and found some snails. We put them in their new homes and made sure to give them fresh food and water each day. We gave each snail a name and wrote its name on its house. After a week we let the snails back out into the yard.

School tour

Our School Tour

This year all of the Senior Infants went on a school tour to Rathbeggan Lakes. There were farm animals, a playground, a bouncy castle area and a fairy garden.

We went on a giant slide...
